A for-profit organization is seeking a PACU and Pre Operative Testing Nurse Manager to join their accomplished Surgical team.

As the PACU Nurse Manager you will be responsible for delivery of quality patient care that promotes safety and well-being of patients. The Nurse Manager PACU will plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate the overall daily flow of patients through Pre-op and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit for all services. The Post Anethesia Care Unit Nurse Manager will ensures patient care, safety standards, and documentation is carried out according to CPAN, AORN and JCAHO standards and recommended practices and guidelines as well as organize, plan and direct nursing service functions and activities.  As the Nurse Manager you will be responsible for policies and procedures of nursing care and ancillary services, and staff education and competency development and ensure compliance with nursing care standards established by commissions, federal, state and local regulatory agencies and adherence to institutional objectives and policies pertaining to nursing.  The PACU Nurse Manager is expected to maintain open communication with all staff to promote improvement in performance. This position will be under the Direction of the Director of Surgical Services, CNO and Medical Director of Anesthesia and will give direction to all pre-operative testing, pre-operative admission and post-anesthesia care unit staff.
