The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated regions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: operational development, HRIS and analytics, employee engagement & retention, training and development, compensation, and employment law.


Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and interpersonal skills. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.

  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS *

  • Bachelor degree in human resources or Business related field.

  • Five (5) years demonstrate human resource experience.

  • Experience with a large (300+) capacity in a human resource function preferred.

  • Experience with employees located in multiple sites preferred.

  • Must meet all requirements to successful complete background check.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. 


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

 

Essential Duties

  • Partner with regional operations and hourly personnel to motivate the workforce and build a positive and thriving team environment.

  • Conducts weekly meetings with respective business partners.

  • Administer all Human Resources policies and programs for the assigned region.

  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and scorecards/dashboards.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. 

  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of HR training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.

  • Provides guidance and input on regional restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
