Culinary Technician

FULL-TIME

$17.50/hr, plus $1000 new hire bonus, see details below

Culinary Technician duties include:

-Following standardized recipes and methods to prepare a variety of food
products. Utilizing Combi Ovens, CQC Wave Cooker, Automated Grill, and Fry Lines,
Blast Chillers, Souse Vide Tanks.
-Inspecting food ingredients and food preparation equipment through physical,
mechanical, and visual inspection to maintain quality standards and sanitation
regulations.
-Coordinating and performing equipment and plant Sanitation, as needed
-Maintaining accurate production records, HACCP, and QA documentation to
ensure that all meet the federal, state, county, and Company requirements.
-Controlling quality and production costs through strict adherence to recipes and
production procedures, monitoring waste and loss and improving work efficiencies.
-Inspecting and evaluating equipment requirements to ensure efficiency and
safety.
-Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by ensuring that all food
safety, food holding, temperature, Giant Eagle, and OSHA standards are met.

6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Qualifications
  • Must pass background check
  • Can lift 50 lbs
  • Must be at least 18+ years old
Associates Degree in Culinary Arts Food Safety Certification

$1000 new hire incentive

$1000.00 New Hire Bonus Bonus Payout: $500.00 after 90 days, $500.00, at six (6) months
