Job Description

We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistants - Weekend Warrios in Pottsville, PA. We are a growing healthcare and nursing facility company that offers employees opportunities for advancement and competitive compensation.

The Baylor program allows for weekend warriors to make extra cash while having the flexibility and potential to pick up extra hours or work another job on the side.

Schedule:

  • Shift - 3pm-11pm +$3 shift differential
  • 4 shifts on weekends and get paid for 5

Subfunction Definition: To provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

  • Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner
  • Admission, Transfer, and Discharge Functions
  • Cooperate with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other facility personnel to ensure that nursing services can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents
  • Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by your supervisors

  • Assist residents with identifying food arrangements
  • Attend and participate in scheduled orientation programs and activities

Requirements: 

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school grade education or its equivalency
  • Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of this state in Pennsylvania
  • Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices
  • Long-term care experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel
