The Senior Alternate Site Business Development Specialist is responsible for providing technical and operational support of strategic relationships with both internal and external customers. The position will help enable market growth in areas such as ENT with emphasis on streaming and video on demand technologies. The external customer teams are comprised of operating room administrators, surgeons, IT, and consultants. Internal teams will be the associated ENT Marketing and Product Managers as well as the sales and sales management representatives for those specialties.

Responsible for Enabling Sales:

  1. Drives strategic capital selling opportunities through presentations, technical customer consultations.
  2. Manages and brokers the relationships between alternate site sales and strategic customers primarily in the non-acute care ASC and Office environments.
  3. Analysis of the target market and development of market growth strategic priorities.
  4. Creates new sales opportunities across North America.
  5. Develops market growth strategies within the design team vertical.
  6. Working with Sales and Sales Management to develop and approve quotations for the product deliverables.
  7. Identifies and develops marketing material for the targeted audience in conjunction with OR1 Marketing.


Consultation and Cross Functional Collaboration:
  1. Consults with sales on workflow, protocols, equipment, and space challenges.
  2. Consults with customer teams on projects that are in all stages of deployment: conception, renovation or construction, go-live.
  3. Subject matter expert on Alternate sites of care Streaming technologies.
  4. Attend trade shows and professional associations as required.
  5. Develop strategic and tactical programs with Enterprise Sales.
  6. Coordinates with marketing and engineering on the product roadmap, relaying design team expectations so that they may be incorporated into the roadmap.


Demonstrate commitment to serving customers, ensuring accurate and honest technical communication with the customer, ensuring what was sold is delivered and fully installed, provides training and support, managing/leading, and cross functional coordination of team selling.
  • Comply with current laws, other regulatory agencies, and institutional and operating systems.
  • Adhere to all KSEA Policies and Procedures as they apply.
  • Knowledge and adherence to Guidelines and Procedures as they are described in the annual education module.
  • Protect employee, customer, and patient confidentiality.
  • Outward-focused customer orientation.
  • Practical and visionary strategic planning, i.e., setting a long-term aggressive goal and identifying the practical ways and means of achieving that goal.


Requirements:

  • A minimum 5+ years of experience in operating room technology sales or marketing
  • A minimum education level of a(n) Bachelors Degree, technical degree
  • Minimum hard skill requirements (including computer and application proficiency):


Other skills:
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong, diplomatic communication, and presentation skills; a proven track record.
  • Strong understanding of construction management.
  • Proven cross functional collaboration
  • Powerpoint, Excel, etc. skills
  • Internal experience at KSEA a strong plus.
